Sexual advertisements can be seen just about everywhere. It is one of the easiest ways of capturing consumers attention towards a product or service. Sexual ads are used by a wide range of fields, such as clothing, food, furniture, magazines, etc. The advertisements can vary in terms of exposure, some tend to be more conservative than others. There have been many complaints raised over sexual exposure in advertisements particularly from religious groups who find these offensive. Sexual content on advertisements catch our attention because of our natural curiosity for skin exposure. It can become a challenge for companies to get their message through when using sexual content because the consumer gets distracted by paying attention to the explicit content, also it can sometimes turn out to be a bad marketing strategy specially if the product has no relationship whatsoever with the sexual content ; as for example a tooth paste company airing an ad with a good looking female exposing her breast or a focus on her curves, this type of things would confuse the audience and the main message would most likely be miss-understood.
